With a different name, would this tavern/bar/saloon have survived.
Then you do have to wonder why
the property owner didn't remove the previous business name
before posting the site "for lease".

He is letting the next leasing person go to the trouble and expense of changing the sign.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the bar has a good following so the name is important to the owner. He is leasing it, and maybe keeping the name is part of the lease? Could be the last lessee was a bad businessman, died, or moved out of town when the lease expired. I kind of like the name. Interesting... :)
