Meat consumption? Perhaps it was an oversight, but none of the graphs plotted meat consumption against the major health issues. Searched the internet and found that the average consumption per person of meat has barely changed since WWII. More chicken now than red meat was the one thing different.
Made up of different genetics and chemicals, we will respond differently to the foods we eat. For me the grains had to go. The meat (with lots of veggies, some fruits) and wine are okay, but for me the pain of acid reflux and heart burn were the reasons to eliminate grains from my diet.

DeleteSorry about this, but I'm not ready to go with your diet. Meat, grains, and wine are working quite well for me.
