Truck and Trailer SOLD

SOLD

For that single person considering living full time in an RV, this truck and trailer combination is an inexpensive beginning of on the road living. This is an experienced system designed for living off the grid or living in a full hookup RV park.

I know I changed my mind before. However, I have been contemplating a settled existence for over a year. It is time to move ahead on that imagined future. The process begins with selling Wandrin Wagon and Silver Slug.

  1. I hope this is the right decision for you and offers? I hope you get so many it will be a bidding war!

    1. It definitely is the right decision. I doubt there will be a bidding war. Considering the unique build of the unit, there might be at least one person out there willing to pay for it. However, I have been considering a philanthropic approach and donate it to NPR. Not that I could use a write off, but it would feel good.

    1. Actually, there are few people that want this small space. I need to find that person of a minimalist bent. Finding that person is the hard part. My guess I will have the trailer after the summer. There will be one more summer of travel -- but without leaving Arizona.

  3. Rough decision Lloyd, but sounds like although struggling with it, you have come to a resolution. My hat is off to you for the travels (and the blog) you have done. I look up to you as I will soon start my adventure and you have set the pace. You were an influence in my decision to RV full-time solo. Wishing you safe travels and a sincere thank you

    1. Making the decision has been a relief. Change means there are new issues; apartment or single wide in mobile home/rv park.

I am pleased that my example of solo RV living was inspiration for you.

  4. I read about your decision on a OFM. I am a resident of Tucson for 38 yrs. I Welcome you. Hope you find a buyer soon. There's no place like Tucson for the winter. I had been heading north for a few yeas but sold my trailer this past summer. I hope to still head that way in my camper shell. Good luck.

    1. For me nine months of great weather was the reason I chose Tucson. Right now I am not sure what I will do during the summer months. I will address that issue after I am settled in a home without wheels.

  5. If we buy the trailer, will you use your last summer of travel to drive it up to Idaho to for a visit and to deliver the unit? Since you're skipping Quartzsite, you know we're going to keep finding ways to get you to come up. We'll see you in Tucson some time in February or March.

    1. Delivering the trailer to Idaho would be one way to get me on the road to the far northern latitudes. Let's talk. :-))
